Thanks, guys, for your rendition of "I hear that huge, old suckin' sound"

Thanks guys, for another rendition of that same-old/same-old Country favorite, "I hear that huge, old suckin' sound"(the Trans-Pacific- Partnership version). Thanks for all the bribery and corruption enabling  our cowardly, venal and crooked members of Congress to vote to blind themselves from what's in the trade agreement.  Thanks for all the lies and corporatist "rules" of secrecy. Thanks for helping further close the American mind -- what's left of it -- for your profits. Thanks for shrugging your shoulders about Global Warming. Special thanks in advance for all the jobs this trade "agreement" will cost the US -- surely many entrepreneurs and dues-paying members of the Chamber of Commerce will arise from all that involuntary leisure.  Thanks for your treason, all bunted up in the red, white and blue.
Who could imagine the US Chamber of Commerce would ever turn traitor to the nation-- the nation, that is, conceived as All the People, not just CEO's and their pet members of Congress.

Among those  members of Congress, we extend a special thanks to San Francisco's own Top Senior, Dianne "The Dowager Senator" Feinstein, who showed authentic Blue Dog fangs on this vote.  -- blj

U.S. Chamber Policy Priorities for 2015

The Jobs, Growth, and Opportunity Agenda

The Chamber continues to advance its Jobs, Growth, and Opportunity Agenda, which is detailed throughout this document. The agenda includes expanding trade, producing more domestic energy, improving infrastructure, modernizing the regulatory process, making essential changes to entitlements, fixing the flaws in Obamacare, curbing lawsuit abuse, and advancing American innovation by protecting intellectual property. The agenda also focuses on revitalizing capital markets, passing immigration reform, and improving education and training, which will expand opportunity, address inequality, and create jobs.

With priorities like this, ridiculous contradictions gift wrapped in  pure propaganda with candy canes and sugarplum fairies, how could America possibly go wrong? -- blj
